Synthesis of 2-alkyl (or aryl)-12-(2-bromophenyl) -8,9,10,11-tetrahydro[1,2,4]triazolo[5',1':6,1]pyrimido[4,5-b]quinolines of
potential biochemical activity

As a part of a research on biologically active compounds, triazolopyrimidoquinoline (9-16, 21) and triazinopyrimidoquinoline (18) derivatives were synthesised. The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of elemental analyses, 1H NMR and mass spectral data. Compounds 7 and 18 were selected to study their effect on liver and kidney functions in albino rats.
